MOTIVEM 2020 call for applications

The deadline for application submission to the MOTIVEM 2020 competition has been announced. For the first time, a total of five prizes will be awarded, one per study branch, equalling 1.400 euros each. The participant teams will be divided according to the following five branches: Arts and Humanities, Sciences, Health Sciences, Social and Legal Sciences, and Engineering.

Moreover, fifteen 600-euro runner-up prizes will be awarded. The total prize value of 16.000 euros shall be distributed among teams of professors and students of Universitat de València who will present the best ideas.

How did the team come up with the idea? What is it about? Which social need does it meet? Which audience does it target? What makes it differ from the others? How should it be developed? And what kind of resources would it need to achieve success? These are the questions that the teams should answer in an application form.

Developed by the Office of the Vice-Principal for Employment and Training Services, this initiative is supported financially by Generalitat Valenciana (the Valencian Government) within the framework of the programme Campus del Emprendedor Innovador and “la Caixa” Foundation.

Who can participate
Those student willing to participate in MOTIVEM should be currently enrolled at the Universitat de València and work under the supervision of a professor or a researcher accredited by the university, whose names may be found on this webpage.

What will be evaluated

Additionally, the current 2020 call will consider the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of every presented idea.
