The 11th Edition of the Comic Days will be held from 23rd to 25th September at La Nau Cultural Centre

The València Comic Days return to La Nau Cultural Centre from 23rd to 25th September. Organised by the Comic Society of the Office of the Vice-Principal for Culture and Society of the Universitat de València, they have a full agenda of activities. More than 50 stands of publishers, bookshops and artists in the Cloister of La Nau Cultural Centre of the Universitat de València will welcome visitors, who will be able to attend dozens of meetings, presentations and free activities for all audiences.

This year, attendees will be able to meet national and international authors such as Laura Pérez, Pedro Cifuentes Elena Casagrande, Martin Etxeberría, Xabier Etxeberría, Montse Mazarriaga, Mateo Guerrero, Joan Mundet, Sergio Bleda, Luis NCT, Álvaro Ortiz, David Sánchez, Sara Soler, Teresa Valero, Juan Díaz Canales, Iban Coello, Fernando Blanco, Gaëlle Geniller, Manuel Gutiérrez, Manuel Romero, Santipérez, Paco Zarco, Bartolomé Seguí, Ramón Marcos and Toni Fejzula. American author Emil Ferris will also be present via videoconference.

The conference will feature children’s workshops during the event, and will be preceded by a workshop by Pedro Cifuentes on Visual Thinking. During the conference, there will be signing sessions with guest authors.

Within the event, it is worth highlighting the possibility of visiting two exhibitions: Las joyas de Bernal (Duc de Calabria Room), which shows the original covers of the legendary Joyas Literarias Juveniles collection (Spanish series of comic book adaptations of literary classics) of Editorial Bruguera by the artist Antonio Bernal, and Negro Espanto (first floor of the Cloister), which brings together an exhibition of the works Goya Saturnalia, by Manuel Gutiérrez and Manuel Romero and Espanto, by Laura Pérez.

The Comic Days have the collaboration of the Directorate General for Culture and Heritage, Department of Cultural Action of the València City Council, Institut Français Valencia, Centro del Cómic Micharmut and EMT València.
