The Universitat de València, Ernest Lluch Foundation and the Valencian government pay tribute to the lecturer and professor murdered by ETA 20 years ago.
The Universitat de València, Ernest Lluch Foundation and the Valencian government have paid tribute to Ernest Lluch, Professor of Economics at the Universitat de València, on the 20th anniversary of his murder at the hands of the terrorist group ETA.
The function has taken place in the entrance of the Faculty of Economics of the Universitat de València, in Francisco Tomás Valiente Square, and it has counted on the participation of the President of the Valencian government, Ximo Puig; the Principal of the Universitat de València, M. Vicenta Mestre; the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, J. Manuel Pastor; and the daughter of the honouree, Rosa Lluch.
The tribute has been brought to a close with the Cant dels Ocells and, finally, the traditional floral tribute has been placed under the commemorative plaque put on the facade of the Faculty of Economics.
