This cycle is an initiative the objective of which is to make the Valencian people familiar with the reality of the Saharan people. The latter has withstood 40 years of occupation of its country, Western Sahara, and a great part of its population is in exile. “Through cinema we can transmit culture, and history of the people who are fighting everyday for their freedom. There are many documentaries and films which show the circumstances of the Saharan people Of all of these, we have chosen three documentaries which reflect this reality through various points of view” the organisers say.
