This programme, promoted by the ADEIT Foundation and developed under the direction of the Vice-principal for Employment and Training Programmes, aims to improve the internships quality and recognise the importance of mentoring.
“We want to generate a teaching innovation culture in which tutors are involved”, said Adela Valero, Vice-Principal for Employment and Training Programmes during the programme’s opening ceremony. She also stressed the Universitat de València's commitment to internship in companies and to this training initiative.
"Thanks to this programme we are going to improve the ultimate aim of the Universitat; the excellence of our students and improve not only their technical knowledge but also their skills and competences and, therefore, their employability," said Adela Valero.
Among the new features of this year's programme, the vice-principal highlighted the flexibility of the programme and the possibility of taking the course either blended or entirely online.
In total, the programme includes 50 hours of innovative training structured in two levels; the first one dedicated to teaching and management of external practices tutoring, lasting 20 hours, and the second level, focused on a workshop for the elaboration of an innovative project of external practices tutoring, lasting 30 hours.
