Behavioral economics, central theme of the fourth Open Classroom Innovation in Business

"Humans are not always rational." This is the assumption from which the mathematics and doctor in economics by the University of Valencia and currently director of the Laboratory of Experimental Economics and Behavior of the same university (LINEEX), Penélope Hernández, will leave on October 3, to explain the factors that influence the decision-making of workers, consumers and users of companies or services.

The presentation, which will take place in the Chamber of ADEIT at 9:00 a.m., is addressed to the members of the Board of Trustees of the University-Enterprise Foundation, as well as those interested in the behavioral economics of the academic and business world who are looking for an optimal strategy to stimulate and manipulate decision making. Attendees will be able to see how the policies in situations of segregation and integration, limited rationality and finite automata are designed in the center of reference in Europe in experimental economics, taking into account that "people act in an emotional and illogical way".

Innovation, experiments and people will be the title under which Penélope Hernández will offer what is constituted as the fourth session of the Open Classroom Innovation in the Company program, where, in addition to the bases of behavioral economics, it will explain how LINEEX is designed in an atmosphere optimal for the impact to derive in the best option to buy.

The Aula Abierta Innovation in the Company program consists of morning sessions conducted by experts in the area of ​​innovation, aimed at the members of the ADEIT board of trustees and academic staff and the world of business.
