CEU Orientation: Violeta Feliciano and Eduardo Gil from UCAM win the gold in Sprint and Medium Distance

The Spanish University Orientation Championship started this Tuesday with the Sprint race and this Wednesday has started with the Middle Distance race. The competition is organised by the Universitat de València and takes place on 6, 7 and 8 May in Aras de los Olmos (València) and the municipality of Titaguas.

The semi-urban Sprint race closed with the triumph of Violeta Feliciano and Eduardo Gil, both UCAM athletes, who won both categories. The second position in the female category was for Ana Isabel Toledo from the UCAM and the third place for Laura Baus from the UAB. In the male category, the silver went to Antonio Martínez of the UCAM and the bronze to Álvaro Casado of the UCM.

The second day of the championship started with the middle distance race that repeated first positions, with the gold of the UCAM athletes, Violeta Feliciano and Eduardo Gil.  In the female classification, the podium was completed by two more UCAM runners, with María Soriano's silver and Rosa Sánchez's bronze. In the male category, the second place went to Antonio Martínez from the UCAM and Álvaro Casado from the UCM climbed to the third step of the podium.

The Trail-O competition took place this Tuesday afternoon and the long distance race will take place this Wednesday.
