Demonstration outside the centres of the Universitat remembering the last victim of male violence

Members of the Universitat de València have congregated at noon this Tuesday 10 March outside the centres of the Universitat to join the 3 minutes of silence called by the Valencian government to pay homage to the last victim of male violence, killed in Villanueva de Castellón
The university community has expressed thus their condolences to Mònica’s family and the families of all victims of these actions of violence. Furthermore, as proposed by the Principal of the Universitat, M. Vicenta Mestre, the Government Council held this morning has observed five minutes of silence in the Boardroom.
The Office of the Vice-Principal for Equality, Diversity and Sustainability has manifested, once more, the rejection of the Universitat de València to male violence and appeals to the unity of the society and the effectiveness of public authorities to actively fight against this femicide of deep social implications.
