The Universitat de València celebrates the second Intenational Week between the 4th and the 8th of March (International Credit Mobility Week), called ‘Internationalizing Higher Education Institutions beyond the European borders’. This initiative is organised by the Cooperation and Intenational Relationship service and it belongs to the Erasmus+ KA107 programme, developed with countries which do not belong to the European Union.

The lecturers and administrative assistants of several foreign universities meet to interchange experiences, to analyse the pros and cons in the development of the programme, as well as to debate the present and the future of the mobility as an internationalisation tool in the superior education.

Over five days, the participants -coming from countries such as Armenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Tunisia, Morrocco, Ukraine, Kazajstán and Korea, among others, will attend personalised conferences, debates and workshops, apart from some excursions and cultural activities, both to discover the city of València, and to discover the installations, the campus and the services of the most ancient public institution of València.

The peak of this week will be the closing ceremony, on the 7th of March in the Jardí Botànic of the Universitat de València.  In addition, this ceremony will be exceptional as it gathers the participants of three international weeks, which will take place in the Universitat de València over the same week. A coincidence which has never happened before.  In this way, more than 140 lecturers and administration and service assistants of foreign universities will gather at the closing ceremony: the attendants to the International Week of the Faculty of Economics, the attendats to the International Week of the Faculty of Economy and the attendants to the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Week will be together.

This event could be a great opportunity to establish links and collaborations with every professional of the participating universities, so that this contributes to the international projection of the Universitat de València and of the invited institutions of superior education.
