The Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Valencia opened a Recycling Point on Tuesday (April 20) to make waste recycling easier. The initiative is part of the Earth Week events organised by the centre, which culminate on Saturday with a beach clean-up.

The student associations and the dean’s team of the Faculty of Pharmacy have organised different activities related to the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). The complete programme is available by clicking here.

The new dean of the faculty, Hortensia Rico, presided over the inauguration of the Recycling Point, located at the centre entrance. The project has been carried out with the collaboration of the Office of the Vice-Principal for Equality, Diversity and Sustainability.

The different types of waste fractions collected at the University and their corresponding recycling bins will be explained at this point.

Moreover, on Saturday, April 24, there will be a beach clean-up with BIOagradabe. Click here to register for the activity.

In addition, students who bring their old or used phones to the Ambiens stand on the 20th and 23rd can win a sponsorship for a chimpanzee from the C.R Congo of the Jane Goodall Institute.
