From Monday 19 of February to the 2nd of March, 54 students from 21 countries participate in the on-site phase of the Winter School Bernhard Wilpert. It is organised by the Erasmus Mundus WOP-P Master’s Degree and it takes a place at the Universitat de València-Centre de Gandia (CIG-UV).

It is integrated by American, Ghanan, Czech, Brazilian, Italian, New Zealander, Norwegian, Ethiopian, German, English and Spanish students.  A dozen of professors from different universities from all around the world accompany the students.

The main objective of the Winter School is to develop professional competences (this implies acquiring knowledge, abilities and skills) to design interventions in the organizational development and human resources area. All of this is happening in an international context with a global and local joint-perspective approach.  Creating this Joint Intensive Learning Unit in the Erasmus Mundus WOP-P Master’s Degree has three phases. First of all, working in virtual teams made up by members of several universities and countries. The second phase is an on-site residential course at the CIG-UV. The third one consists in undertaking a long-distance final project of integration via the Aula Virtual of Universitat de València.

This master’s degree is organized by the consortium of five European universities (Barcelona, Bolonia, Coimbra, Paris-Descartes and València) and the collaboration of two non-European universities (Universidade de Brasília in Brazil and University of Guelph in Canada.
