The IV International Congress of Psychobiology will take place at the Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy of the Universitat de València on the 20, 21, and 22 of July of 2022. The organising committee is made up by professors of Psychobiology, led by the full university professor of the Universitat de València Alicia Salvador.

This congress, organized by the Spanish Society of Psychobiology, follows the previous editions in Granada 2019, Ávila 2017 and Oviedo 2015. It is an opportunity to share the most recent discoveries about the relations between the nervous system and the behaviour in all of its facets.

The programme includes the participation of internationally renowned speakers, round tables, and oral presentations. Guest speakers include: Dr. Pascual Leone (U.S.A), Dr. Carmen Sandi (Switzerland), Dr. Philippe Courtet (France), and Dr. Nicolas Rohleder (Germany). Traditionally, the Society’s event presents the main scientific advances of Psychobiology with a special focus on innovate lines led by young researchers. The scientific programme will be complemented with a socio-cultural programme that only an open and welcoming city as Valencia can offer.

Suicide, stress and health processes, ageing, alcohol and addictions, Neuropsychology, etc. are among the topics to be addressed at this congress that stand out due to their social impact. All of them may be of great interest for the development of the professional role in Psychology.

The deadline for submitting abstracts has been extended until May 15, and the reduced fee period ends on May 23 with reduced prices for graduate and undergraduate students.
