The male team got the silver medal on the Championship of Spain on cross country running

The team of the Universitat de València of cross country running competed last Saturday 25 March in the University Championship of Spain (CEU), which took part in Caravaca de la Cruz, Murcia. The UV male team got the silver medal, the Catholic University of Murcia got the golden medal and the University of Castilla-La Mancha got the bronze medal. The Valencian female team did not make it to the podium ─ they ranked fifth.
The male team of the Universitat had consolidated athletes in their team, like i.e. the autonomic champion Alberto Pérez and José Ignacio Giménez. Both of them are considered as the best ones in the Valencian team and they have stood out for their excellent results in other CEU editions.
