With the aim of supporting UV athletes so that they can combine their sporting activity and participation in competitions with their academic studies, the UV grants a series of economic and/or academic-sports aids every academic year.

A total of 20 grants of €1,200 and 280 grants of €350 have been awarded for the 2022/2023 academic year. In addition, all athletes who meet the requirements to be part of the aid programme receive academic-sports support consisting of academic supervision, the possibility of using the sports facilities for training, use of the services of the UVsports Support Office for Athletes (medical care, physiotherapy, psychology, sports training and nutrition) and obtaining 1.5 ECTS credits.

The twenty athletes of the programme who have achieved the highest score in the ranking, have received a scholarship of €1,200 each, and the next 280, €350.
