Fiestas, danzas y procesiones en los archivos de la Casa Insa. La Ribera del Júcar

This publication analyses in detail the patron saint feast in the different villages along the river registered in the archives of the Insa clothing shop in València, a family business which, during the 19th and 20th centuries, has made the clothes for the festivities of numerous Valencian towns. Through this research, the authors want us to reflect on the importance and repercussions of this immaterial patrimonial wealth, which, nowadays, needs precise and exhaustive knowledge as a previous step to its revaluation and diffusion as a sign of identity of the Valencian popular culture.

El patrimonio natural de la Ribera del Júcar. Conocimiento, conservación y puesta en valor

This work is a collection of 6 chapters in which the natural heritage of the region of La Ribera del Júcar is described, and keys for its conservation and enhancement are dealt with. It details the landscape heritage, geodiversity, the biodiversity of the region, the importance of protected natural areas and the educational and tourist value of all components of natural heritage.

Retos de la vertebración territorial valenciana. Encuentro 2019 Universitat de València-Institutos de Estudios Comarcales

The book brings together the reflections on the territorial structure of València that were presented at the meeting held in February 2019 between specialists from the Universitat de València, researchers from the Institutes of Regional Studies (IDECOS) and political representatives from the local public administration. The work deals with very relevant issues for Valencian society, such as the effectiveness of current land use models, inequalities between the coast and inland, the provision of essential services in rural areas, and so on.

Aproximaciones de contexto al Castillo Palacio de Alaquàs. Sangre, tinta y piedra

The castle-palace of Alaquàs is one of the most outstanding works of Valencian Renaissance architecture.  On the centenary of its declaration as an Asset of Cultural Interest (1918), this book contains a series of studies on some of the historical, cultural, architectural and artistic aspects that frame and establish the uniqueness of this building.
