As in previous years, the UV Publications Service will have its own stand with its latest published news, as well as the highlighted collection of its extended catalogue. The UV Publications Service will be located in the 9th stand (Block 26C) in the Plaza de la Ciencia y las Universidades, where, for the second year in a row, several Spanish university publishers and the Spanish Union of University Publishers (UNE) will be present.

The theme of this year’s Madrid Book Fair is sport and physical activity, and there will be more than 400 stands from bookshops, publishers and distribution groups. This year’s event promises to be historic.

The UV Publications Service will be organising author signings, as well as the news and highlighted collection. The book signings hosted by the UV will be the following:

• Maria Iranzo Cabrera, author of El Papus, will be signing books on Saturday, 1 June from 11am to 1pm.
• Raquel Sánchez and David San Narciso, publishers of Con pase y de etiqueta, will be signing books on Sunday, 2 June from 11am to 1pm.
• Isabel González Gil, author of La poética quietista de Valle-Inclán, will be signing books on Saturday, 8 June from 11am to 1pm.
• Francisco Jiménez Aguilar, author of Masculinidades en vertical, will be signing books on Sunday, 9 June from 11am to 1pm.
• Eduardo Leste Moyano, author of Vida y muerte del bacalao, ill be signing books on Sunday, 16 June from 6pm to 8pm.

• From Monday to Thursday: from 10am to 2pm and from 5pm to 9pm.
• From Friday to Sunday: from 10:30am to 3pm and from 5pm to 9pm.
• On Friday, 7 June there will be a new activity: the illuminated night, when the fair will close at 11:30pm.
