Publicacions of the Universitat de València participates in the II Fira de l’Edició Independent

The second edition of the II Fira de l’Edició Independent, organised by the Associació d’Editorials del País Valencià and the València City Councill, will have the participation of the Universitat de València. The event will take place on the esplanade of Veles e Vents of the Marina of València from 24 to 26 June.

Publicacions of the Universitat de València will be present at the tent number 3 with the latest novelties sand the most outstanding editorial collection, sharing space with the Alfons el Magnànim Institution and the Doctor Sax Bookshop.

This encounter it’s a great opportunity to give visibility to literature, and independent publishing, which are often not sufficiently accessible within the conventional circuits. It is also an opportunity to highlight the value of bibliodiversity, the result of the work of publishers who represent 80% of the cultural wealth in our country and who, breaking away form the conventional circles, place critical thinking at the centre.

Publicacions of the Universitat de Valènciais is also actively participating in this edition with the presentation, on Sunday 26 June at 13:30, of the book Històries originals de la vida real  by Wollstonecraft, with Carme Manuel, translator and university professor of literature from the United States in the Universitat de València, and Manolo Gil, Valencian journalist and publisher.
