Sara Zamarbide Forés, Wins 'Concepción Medina García' Award to the Best Female Record in the Degree of Teacher in Primary Education

The teacher Sara Zamarbide Forés has obtained the fifth prize 'Concepción Medina García', of the Foundation Ana Díaz Medina, to the best female record in the degree of Teacher in Primary Education of the Faculty of Teacher Training of the Universitat de València. The prize, paid by the foundation, is six thousand euros, and aims to support the continuity of studies aimed at research training in the field of education.

Sara Zamarbide Forés, born in Valencia in 1988, began her training at the Primer Marqués del Turia public school and at the Benlliure de València secondary school, where she graduated in Science with honours. After completing her Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology at the Universitat Politècnica de València and Master’s Degree in Basic and Applied Neurosciences in the Universitat de València, her passion and belief in public education led her to pursue a Master's degree in Primary Education (in her speciality of English language) at the Universitat de València.

The award ceremony, held in the deanery of the Faculty of Education, was attended by the president and secretary of the foundation, María Dolores de la Calle and María Teresa de la Vieja, respectively, accompanied by the vice-rector for Studies and Language Policy of the Universitat de València, Isabel Vázquez.
