“Viure La Mort” is the title of the exhibition that collects the students work of the Faculty of Teacher Training of the Universitat de València. It will be open this Wednesday 18April at 12:00 in the Natural Science Museum of Valencia (Viveros Garden). It is a combination of 18 art installations. The works have been fitted along the route of the museum. So, spectators have to go looking for the trace of the death during their visit of the exhibition. It is a interactive sample that entails thinking about death. And especially, about the opportunity to educate to citizenship about death.

Among titles of installations are found proposals such as Rebirth, between light and dark, What is born goes off, We are flower and seed, In cages, Killers of the environment, Eating the death, Death doesn’t discriminate or Dead in life. All of them have recognitions ranging from gender issues to the right to a dignified death.

The educative part has been in charge of the professor Ricard Huerta of the Group Creari of Research in Cultural Pedagogies. This activity implies a collaboration between the Natural Sciences Museum of the City Hall of Valencia and the Universitat de València. During the months of April, May and June 2018, students of “Teaching Proposals in Arts Education” (Arts and Humanities of the university degree of Mestre Especialista in Primary Education) give their artworks. Moreover, there will be an online programme by hastag #ViureLaMort
