The Universitat de València organises CADU's finals

On Tuesday, the 5th of March, the Universitat de València will organise the finals of the Campionat Autonòmic d’Esports Universitaris (CADU) in teams. 10 teams will be participating, the paddle tennis one included.

The Universitat will compete in the finals represented by the men’s basketball team (against the UCV), the women’s basketball team (against UA), women’s handball team (against UA), the women’s football team (against UA), men’s futsal team (against UCV), women’s futsal team (against UA), men’s rugby 7 team (UV, UCH and UPV), women’s rugby 7 team UV, UPV and UJI), men’s volleyball team (against UPV) and women’s volleyball team (against UA), besides paddle tennis against the UCV. The men’s handball team, men’s football team and tennis teams did not make it to the finals.

The majority of the matches will take place at the sports facilities of the Blasco Ibáñez campus (Aulari V, North and South, University Pavilion and exterior courts). The futsal matches will take place at the municipal pavilion of Benimaclet (Daniel Balaciart, s/n – València) and the rugby ones will take place at the Rugby Field of the Turia river (Section V).

Although they have to wait to know the results of the final matches, the Universitat de València already has four teams classified for the Spanish University Championships (CEU): the men and women’s handball team, men’s volleyball team and women’s futsal team. The CEU will take place at the Valencian Community, organised collaboratively between all Valencian (public and private) universities.

All matches will be broadcasted through streaming and the results could be checked and followed in the social networks of SEF.
