The Universitat de València takes part in the annual conference of NAFSA, in Philadelphia

The Universitat de València, through its Office of the Vice-Principal for International Relations and Cooperation, participates from 27th May to 1rst June in Philadelphia in the Annual Conference of NAFSA (Association of International Educators). It is the most important fair of the world in the field of education, and it is considered by all academic area as a unique opportunity for creation, broadening and deepening of networks and bilateral agreements among institutions of international high education.

The annual conference, dedicated to the promotion of international education and exchange programmes for students and academic staff among high education institutions, has more than 10,000 participants from 100 countries that represent 3.500 institutions.

It offers a multitude of educational provision for professionals in international education in all levels and specialities. Furthermore, the conference is a great place to start relationships with other international universities and to know all news in the educative international field.

Thereby, it is pretended to increase the offer of students mobility of the Universitat de València in international programmes, through agreements with other universities of international field. These actuations allows the Universitat to continue being a leading institution in the students exchange. The Universitat de València is the third university with the largest number of Erasmus students received in Europe. In addition, it seeks to consolidate mobility programmes with countries as United States, Australia, Japan, Korea or China.
