The three new international double degrees are: Degree in Business Intelligence and Analytics (UV) + Degree in Statistics and Data Analysis (Università degli Studi di Palermo, Italy); Degree in Business Administration and Management (UV) + Degree in Economic and Social Sciences, Business specialisation (University of Antwerp, Belgium); and Degree in Economics (UV) + Degree in Economic and Social Sciences, Economics specialisation (University of Antwerp, Belgium).

In its last ordinary session held on 12 March, the Governing Council of the UV approved the implementation of three international double degree programmes. The three programmes are from the Faculty of Economics of the UV, pioneer in international double degrees.

International double degree programmes allow students to take two academic years at the Universitat de València and two academic years at the partner university. At the end of their studies, they obtain two official and recognised degrees. Asunción Hernández, vice-dean of International Relations at the Faculty of Economics, highlights that they are “a great competitive advantage in the labour market” and facilitate the international mobility of students both during their studies and afterwards. Hernández points out that “95% of our students who complete an international double degree find a job immediately”.

For the 2025 - 2026 academic year, the BMA (ADE) and Economics degrees will offer the possibility of studying the last two years at the University of Antwerp (Belgium), an "outstanding university highly demanded by European students" and with which "we have managed to sign a very positive agreement for the students of the Universitat de València", said Hernández. The Degree in Business Intelligence and Analytics (BIA) of the UV will also offer the option of taking an international double degree with the Degree in Statistics and Data Analysis of the Università degli Studi di Palermo (Italy) and the certification of the first year of the Master in Statistics and Data Science of the same university, an institution “member of the Forthem alliance and committed to data analysis studies", according to Hernández.

These three new international double degrees join the thirteen programmes currently in force. This means that the UV has agreements for long-term stay mobility programmes with universities in the United States, Germany, Italy, France, Belgium and the United Kingdom. As well as allowing you to study at a foreign university while paying the corresponding fees for enrolment at the Universitat de València, taking an international double degree programme also helps you to learn about other study methodologies, deepen your knowledge of languages and develop, from the student stage, in an international context.
