The Universitat de València wins 55 medals in the Spanish University Championships of 2023

The UV athletes have obtained 15 golden medals, 20 silver medals and 20 bronze medals in the university national competitions that this year have been celebrated in different Spanish cities, especially in Castilla y León.
Talent, effort and commitment of the athletes team of the Universitat de València has been rewarded in the medal count of the Spanish University Championships (CEU) 2023, that ended on 3 June with the competition of triathlon.
The UV won a total of 55 medals, of which 15 are gold -in athletics, cross-country, fencing, women’s football, equestrianism, judo, swimming and taekwondo-, 20 silver medals -in women’s basketball, fencing, weight-lifting, judo, swimming, 7 women’s rugby, tennis, sailing, women’s volleyball, male volleyball, female beach volleyball-, and 20 bronze medals -in athletics, badminton, chess, fencing, judo, karate, swimming, 7 male rugby, taekwondo and archery-.
