During this week, the Burjassot Campus will host an exclusive group of scientists who conduct researches on the evolution of life on the Earth and that aim at reading the dramatic changes that our plane suffered at rocks in order to learn about them and to disseminate their conclusions with the purpose of being useful in the current discussions about different topics.

This event represents the first time that four European countries, which are led by Spain, are coordinated to organise the Fourth International Congress on Conodonts (ICOS IV) which take place every four years. Apart from the scientific conferences celebrated in Valencia from 26 to 30 June, there will be a previous excursion to Pirineos (20-25), a posterior one to Bohemia and the Carnic Alpes (1-9 July) and another one in the middle of the congress to Tabuenca, a village of Zaragoza, on 28 June.

The event is organised by professors and researchers of the Universitat de València in collaboration with the Università di Cagliari, University of Graz and the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
