The University of Almeria awards its medal in Psychology to Professor Vicente Martínez Tur

Vicente Martínez Tur, professor at the Universitat de València, has been awarded the Psychology Medal at the University of Almeria for his distinguished scientific and teaching career.

Vicente Martínez Tur (Tavernes de la Valldigna, 1970) is a Full University Professor of Social and Organisational Psychology at the Universitat de València, member of IDOCAL (Research Institute of Personnel Psychology, Organisational Development and Quality of Working Life of the Universitat de València) and director of the Department of Social Psychology. He coordinates an intense research and transfer activity in centres for people with intellectual disabilities, from the perspective of Organizational Psychology.

Professor Martínez Tur has been general secretary of the European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology and is currently president-elect of the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP-Division 1). He also coordinates the IAAP's international report ("This works in my place!") on the contribution of Work and Organizational Psychology to the sustainable development goals considering the context of each region in the world.
