The University Sports Pavillion opens its doors this Saturday, 25 February, from 9:30 on the occasion of the second session’s celebration of the Boccia’s League of the Valencian Community, an adapted and exclusive sport played by athletes with cerebral paralysis or by athletes in a wheelchair with total or partial disability in its limbs, accepted as a Paralympic sport.

The boccia’s competition is organised by the Federation for Adapted Sports of the Valencian Community (FESA) in cooperation with the Physical Education and Sports Service (SEF) of the Universitat de València.

The meeting this Saturday, according to the SEF, “offers the university community (students, Administration and Services Staff or PAS and the Teaching and Research Staff or PDI) the opportunity to enjoy a high-level sports day,” as well as the whole Valencian society.

The championship will be played in two sessions tomorrow morning (from 9:30 to 13:15) and in the afternoon (from 15:00 to 18:15), and will bring together athletes from different clubs of the Valencian Community.
