Access to the full content of Eureka until 6 January

As a result of the severe situation caused by the DANA and in order to face the forthcoming quarterly exams, Editorial Médica Panamericana has offered us free access to its complete collection of e-books on its Eureka (remember to activate the VPN), platform until 6 January.

You can access the contents of the collection through our biblioguide.

This access will allow our students and teachers who cannot access our libraries to continue their learning and training.

ON PUBLICAR Edició 2024

The update of the ON PUBLICAR tool, developed by the staff of the UV libraries, is now available. On Publicar is a database of more than 26,000 journals, classified by subject area, each of which has been assigned a JCR, SJR and Dialnet category.

The aim of this tool is to provide research staff at the Universitat de València with an overview of the journals in their area of knowledge, highlighting the main criteria they may need when choosing a journal to publish in.

The main novelty offered by ed. 2024 is that it allows to consult journals from the different areas of knowledge in a single interface.

The tool is constantly updated and is accessible from the library's website: ON PUBLICAR.

Special Christmas and exams period timetable

On the occasion of the Constitution and Immaculate Conception public holidays, the library will be closed on 6 and 7 December..

On the other hand, the Christmas opening hours will be as follows:

• 23, 24, 25 and 31 December, 1 and 6 January: CLOSED.
• 26, 27 and 30 December, 2 and 3 January: 8:15 to 14:30..

There will be special opening for study on weekends:

• 14, 15, 21, 22, 22, 28 and 29 December and 4, 11, 12, 18 and 19 January: 9am to 9pm.
• 5 January: 9 am to 2 pm.

Remember that during the exam period the UV card will be required to access the libraries and that on weekends the access is through the chapel door.

Formació en línia de la plataforma Acces Medicina

Per a qui no pogués assistir a la sessió presencial d'octubre, el dijous que ve, 21 de novembre, a les 16 h. tindrem una nova sessió de formació, però aquesta vegada en línia, sobre la plataforma de llibres i recursos electrònics Access Medicina subscrita per la Biblioteca de Ciències de la Salut.

La duració serà d'1 hora i estarà a càrrec de Lizbeth Cruz, formadora de l'editorial McGraw Hill. La sessió serà gravada.
Està dirigida als membres de la UV (estudiants, professors o PTGAS) i en ella s'abordaran les principals funcions d' Access Medicina i s'ensenyarà a navegar de manera eficient pels continguts educatius de la plataforma.

3. Llista de resultats i registres
4. Text complet en html, PDF i àudio. App Access

Reobertura de la biblioteca

El dilluns 4 de novembre tornem a obrir la biblioteca, amb l'horari habitual, encara que en principi només s'obrirà la planta de baix, fins que les condicions d'accés a València des dels pobles afectats milloren.

Des de la Biblioteca de Ciències de la Salut volem també expressar el nostre condol a les famílies de les víctimes i la nostra solidaritat amb tota la població afectada en moments tan greus i dolorosos.
