Closing of the work booths and the study room
We inform you that, due to the works in the courtyard of the Faculty of Psychology, the old part of the Library (individual study room and group work booths) will be closed until further notice.
You can use the room on the ground floor for group work.

SCOPUS classroom training
FECYT together with the database provider Scopus (Elsevier) organizes a face-to-face training that will take place in the Aula N112 of the Aulario Norte of the Tarongers Campus on November 9 from 13:30 to 15:30. The aim of this type of training sessions is to inform users of the new contents of the databases, as well as to present the new features that have been introduced over the last few months and to satisfy the doubts that have arisen among librarians, researchers and other users.
These training sessions are open and free of charge, but require registration, which should be done through the following link. The course will be given by a specialized trainer with the aim of presenting and explaining the content of the databases, training the research community of each center in the use and functionalities of the tool, carrying out practical exercises to fix the theoretical concepts learned and solving any doubts that may arise.

On the other hand, we wanted to introduce you to the "ON PUBLICAR" tool for the areas of Psychology, Speech Therapy and Sports researchers. The aim of this tool is to offer the research staff of the UV a overview of the journals of these disciplines, highlighting the main criteria that are may need when choosing a journal to publish. More information
In the case of the table for Psychology journals, we recommend consulting them instructions for use, in the header of the page, since the tool allows the use of filters and multiple combinations to select those titles that meet different conditions of our interest (for example, journals in a certain JCR category with quartiles Q1 or Q2).
If you need help with handling the tool or for any clarification, you can contact us through "the Library responds", or going to the library in person.

Online Courses APRÈNCD I APRÈNTFG 2023-2024
Enrollment for the LEARN courses of the Library and Documentation Service will remain open until October 15.
The APRÈNCD and TFG courses for the 2023-2024 academic year will take place between October and March of the 2023/24 academic year. It is aimed at undergraduate students of the University of Valencia.
Learn CD Digital skills (APRÈNCD) is an online course that aims to train students in digital skills.
Learn how to do the TFG: background and organization of information. Digital Competences (APRÈNTFG) is an online course that aims to train students in the advanced digital skills needed to successfully prepare a degree thesis.
The APRÈNCD and APRÈNTFG have the recognition of 1.5 credits for 54 degree qualifications.
