Students' representatives in the Trobada of 2018 in Ontinyent.

From the 22th to the 24th of February, the 3rd ‘Trobada’ (meeting) of students’ representatives of the Universitat de València takes place in Benicàssim. This meeting, whose guests are two members of each of the representative’s associations (ADR) and two members of each association with cloistral representation, is an initiative of the Delegate for Students organised by the SeDi Information and Promotion Service. The two previous editions were celebrated in Alboratxe and in Ontinyent, respectively.

This activity combines the education and the playful spirit in order to encourage interaction and motivation among the members of the different associations of the Universitat de València.  The main goals of this event are to improve the resources available for active participation and to improve communication and conciliation skills.  Workshops on communication, on ADR running, on leading or on academic rights will be carried out together with a roundtable of experiences dealing with the youth political participation commitment. In this roundtable, Mercedes Elizalde, delegate of the principal of Students of the Universitat de València, Laura Alcaide, president of the Students’ Council of the Universitat Jaume I, Samuel Falomir, mayor of Alcora, and Maria Such, general director of the Valencian Institute for Women and Gender Equality will give their speeches.

The meeting will include a concert and an itinerary, guided by the lecturers Oscar Vives and Andreu Beltran: ‘The Stuka Experiment’ and ‘Carles Salvador in Benassal’.
