The Universitat de València will celebrate the “Benvinguda” for the academic year 2023-2024 from 17 to 26 October, in the campuses of Burjassot, Els Tarongers, Blasco Ibáñez and Ontinyent. In this initiative, driven by the Student Council (led by Marcos Durá Gimeno) and organized by the SeDi Information and Promotion Service, different university services will participate to showcase the activities they have prepared for the current academic year, as well as the student associations and groups.
The 2023 “Benvinguda” will start in the Burjassot campus on Tuesday, 17 October. It will continue in Els Tarongers campus on 19 October; then, in Blasco Ibáñez campus on 24 October, and in the campus of Ontinyent on 26 October. In addition to the information booths of the university services and the student associations, which will take the opportunity to personally present the projects and initiatives oriented towards the students for the 2023-2024 academic year, there will also be a relax zone with ambient music by Solstice Music.
The last editions of the “Benvinguda” were very well received, both by the students and by the participating services and associations. It is a model that allows discovering participation and involvement opportunities in university life, such as the VoluntariadoUV (volunteering), the cultural and sports programme or the student associations, additionally obtaining useful information about grants, language courses, Erasmus+ and Forthem stays and more.
The welcome session is a meeting point for the university students, especially the newcomers, where they can make contact with all the proposals that the University offers them and with the rest of the students, and fully integrate into university life.
The Student Council organizes the “Benvinguda” through the Information and Promotion Service (SeDi), with the participation of university services and student associations and groups.
