This Wednesday, the “C-Danza” young company presented four pieces (INside of me, Estudi #1, Terra blava and Plaça de les sirenes) on the terrace between the Faculty of Teacher Training and the Faculty of Social Sciences. The Office of the Vice-Principal for Culture and Society of the UV and the Professional Dance School of Valencia organised the activity together as part of Culture on Campus autumn programme.
The program will bring different cultural activities of interest to students to the various spaces of the Universitat de València.
The conference ‘Spanish Poetry from the Transition to the present day’ has been organised on the Blasco Ibáñez Campus and in connection with this new programme. It will take place on 25 October in the Boardroom of the Faculty of Language Studies, Translation and Communication, in which Doctor Elena de Jongh Rosell will explain her anthology and the trajectory of the poets forty years after its publication.
This season’s performing arts programme of the Palmireno Room has also been presented in this campus. It includes the ‘University stage workshop: history of a stage’, organised by the theatre group ‘REbombon Cultural’. It will take place on 31 October. The group ‘QA i Nutrimenti terrestre’ will present ‘Studio a partire da sette contro tebe di eschilo’ on 14 November.
Regarding Tarongers Campus, the UV Cultural Observatory has organised the day ‘Winning money financing culture?’ on Tuesday, 24 October, at the Faculty of Economics. This conference will discuss tax incentives for investment in culture by companies and freelancers.
