DocsValència, the International Festival of Documentary Film, will screen more than 40 films from all over the world in their different seats from 26 April to 5 May. The Universitat de València associated to this festival and from the section ‘DocsFòrum’, it will become seat of debates and talks both at Principal Peset Hall of Residence and Cultural Centre La Nau.

DocsValència will pay tribute to the director Julien Temple, author of documentaries about The Clash and The Sex Pistols and one of the authors of video clips most prestigious in the world. Temple has recorded with The Rolling Stones, Ray Davis, Paul McCartney and Blur.

Temple is considered the “Orson Welles of punk”. The English author will give a master class on 27 April in the Principal Peset Hall of Residence, at 16h.

Activities will continue in the Principal Peset Hall of Residence on Saturday 28, with a round table about “Creative production: new forms”, and on Sunday 29 with “Festivals and markets: an overview map”, both at 16 h.

The conferences will continue next week in the Cultural Centre La Nau. A conference about postmodern forms of cinema of real on Wednesday 2nd, and on Friday 4th a speech about cinematic experiences.  All the information about DocsFòrum here
