Throughout the international week, a total of 31 information sessions are scheduled, classified by degree and by type of mobility programme. The activities will take place in face-to-face and online formats.This initiative is promoted by the Vice-rectorate for Internationalisation and Multilingualism and aims to promote international education for students.

The best known international mobility programme is Erasmus, the European Union's international mobility action that allows students to spend semesters or years studying at other European universities.

In 2022 the Erasmus programme will be 35 years old. Since its beginnings, the University of Valencia has been a European leader in sending and receiving Erasmus students. In fact, it is in the top 3 of Spanish universities sending Erasmus students and it is the University that receives more Erasmus students than any other in Europe.

But the International Week will not only inform about the Erasmus programme. The possibility of going to universities in other countries such as the United States, China, Australia or South American states will also be discussed. Furthermore, it will also be explained how to participate in the Erasmus internship programme or how to become a student of an alliance of European universities within the scope of "FORTHEM".
