The new season of the series "Sustainable Universe" starts next 3rd May on La 2,TVE, as part of the programme "The adventure of Knowledge"

The 9 chapters that make up this sixth season co produced by Crue Spanish Universities can also be seen on the web platforms of the 26 participating universities and co-producers.

The themes of this new stage will be tide cells, climate change, neurodegenerative diseases, the effects of deforestation on biodiversity, 5G technologies, the impact of sugar on health, volcanic eruptions, the intelligence of oceans, vegetation on water quality and oceanic sedimentation.


As in previous editions, different people from the scientific community will explain in a simple way the keys to progress in research projects related to technological advances that will have an important impact in the near future.


The programme "The Adventure of knowledge" aims to transmit to the public a rigorous knowledge of reality so that they can be more critical and responsible in their decisions. On the other hand, this new project will also allow us to know how the public reacts to the scientific projects presented.

Participating Universities
The Sustainable Universe project is the result of a co-production of the audiovisual services and scientific communication units of 29 universities belonging to Crue Spanish Universities: Autonomous University of Barcelona, University of Barcelona, University of Cantabria, University of Castilla-La Mancha, Catolic University San Antonio of Murcia (UCAM), University of Cordoba, Distance Learning University of Madrid (UDIMA), University of Extremadura, University of Granada, University of the Balearic Islands, University of Laguna, University of Leon, University of Malaga, Miguel Hernandez University of Elche, University of Murcia, Distance Education National University (UNED), Nebrija University, Politechnical University of Cartagena, Politechnic University of Madrid, Politechnical University of Valencia, University of Salamanca, Santiago de Compostela University, University of Sevilla, University of Valencia, University of Valladolid and University of Vigo. 


The initiative is being coordinated by the Audiovisual Workshop of the University of Valencia , which has developed the design of the audiovisual format and carried out its executive production.

The broadcasts on TVE and its diffusion through the university multiplatforms will begin on a weekly basis from 3 May.
