The Faculty of Physiotherapy of the University of Valencia (UVEG) offered since 2009 the Degree of Physiotherapy, which comes from the former Physiotherapy undergraduate degree, and was the first institution in Spain to teach this as a university degree. It currently has 172 places, 719 people enrolled, 47 teachers from the institution, 57 associate teachers and 58 assistant teachers.

In addition to the degree, the centre offers two doctoral programs with the participation of foreign teachers, an official master’s degree with three different itineraries and several own degrees. The Faculty of Physiotherapy, in addition, this year has raised € 316,159.02 for research, and annually awards a research prize (Caballé-Gomar) with the aim of promoting scientific research.

Some of the indicators used by the El Mundo newspaper ranking are the cut-off grade, the current expenditure per enrolled person, the type of Internet connection or the number of ongoing research projects at each university, among others.
