The sport facilities of Los Alcázares (Murcia) hosted the 2022 Volleyball University Spanish Championship (CEU) organized by the UCAM (Catholic University of Saint Anthony of Murcia) on the 10, 11 and 12 of May.

In the female competition the UV team did not lose a single match until the final. They beat the universities of Murcia (2-0), Extremadura (2-0) and Deusto (2-0). They reached the semi-finals as first in their group and beat the University of Granada (2-1). In the final, they failed to win the gold medal, losing to the host university, the UCAM of Murcia.

As for the male competition, the UV team did not make it out of the group phase, losing against Málaga (1-2) and Valladolid (1-2). In the third match the Valencian team beat the Carlos III of Madrid University (2-0) but they did not manage to come back in the standings and did not reach the semi-final.
