The University of Valencia co-organises the Mediterranean Female Researchers’ Night

2023 Mediterranean Female Researchers’ Night.

Researchers from the Cavanilles Institute of Biodiversity and Evolutionary Biology, the Institute of Molecular Science (IcMol), the Institute of Integrative Systems Biology (I2SysBio), Archaechemis (Department of Prehistory and Archaeology) and the Institute of Corpuscular Physics (IFIC), entities of the University of Valencia, have participated this Friday, September 29, in the Mediterranean Researchers’ Night, held in the Dock Shed number 2 of the Port of Valencia. This event, within the framework of the European Researchers’ Night, in Valencia has been organised by five entities, one of them the University of Valencia, which has brought more than one hundred specialists.

The European Researchers’ Night is a scientific dissemination project promoted by the European Commission within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions of the Horizon Europe program, which has taken place simultaneously in almost 400 European cities since 2005. In Valencia, this year has had more than thirty activities to bring science closer to all audiences, with free admission and in the morning and afternoon. This night is the result of the MedNight projects, in which the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the health research foundations Fisabio and INCLIVA participate; and on the other hand Science GTS, where the University of Valencia (UV) and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) are located.
