The Attendance Activity module allows a professor to take attendance in class and students to view their own attendance record.
The teacher can create multiple sessions and mark the attendance status as "Present", "Absent", "Late", or "Excused Absence", or modify those statuses to suit their needs.
Reports are available for the whole class or individually per student.
Using "Add a session" or, also, "Add multiple sessions", it is possible to add which days and at what time the class will be held.
The option is available to record the attendance of our students to the class ourselves or, on the other hand, through student registration, allowing students to record their attendance.
When one or more sessions have been generated (as appropriate), and in order to register attendance in our agenda, click on the "Take attendance" option to register the students.
The list of our students is then available and attendance can be taken (unless the option has been left for them to record their own attendance or absence) as present (P), late (R), excused absence (J) or unexcused absence (I).
