BenvingudaUV welcome event comes to Blasco Ibañez Campus

The Universitat de València continues to host these days the Benvinguda a la Universitat 2023 welcome event. This Tuesday 24 October, the event took place in the Blasco Ibáñez Campus. M. Vicenta Mestre, Principal of the UV, and Marcos Durà, Student Delegate, visited the different information stands of the university services and student associations to find out how their initiatives interest students who attend the Benvinguda.
The students of the faculties of Nursing and Podiatry, Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, Psychology and Speech Therapy, Geography and History, Medicine and Dentistry, Philology, Translation and Communication and Philosophy and Education Sciences have been able to discover first-hand all the activities of the university services and student associations and groups: UV Volunteering, Erasmus+ FORTHEM, library services, cultural proposals, complementary training or initiatives in the field of diversity and equality, among many others. All of this with the musical accompaniment by Solstice Music while enjoying relaxation areas for students to enjoy themselves with colleagues.
The Benvinguda a la Universitat welcome event, organised by the Student Council Branch through the Information and Promotion Service for Students (Sedi), is a meeting point for the academic community and an opportunity to get in touch with other students and integrate into university life.
Many entities participated in the Benvinguda in the Blasco Ibáñez Campus: the Language Centre of the UV, Equality, Erasmus+ FORTHEM (International Relations and Cooperation Service), the Llibreria de la Universitat, the University Culture Service, the Sports Service, the Information and Promotion Service for Students (Sedi), the Libraries and Documentation Service, the Language Service, the Equality Unit, UVdisability, UVemprén, UVjob and UVsustainability. The following student groups and associations also participated in the event: AEMES (Associació d’Estudiants de Medicina en Urgències i Emergències), Bloc d’Estudiants Agermanats (BEA), Biomedical Research Congress (CIB), Arrels del canvi, Grupos Bíblicos Universitarios, Caldesa magazine, Saó-UV, Tuna Femenina of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry and Unió d’Estudiants Valencians.
