The Universidad Jaume I de Castellón (UJI) will be in charge of organising, this weekend, the Regional Championship of University Sports in Taekwondo, which will take place at UJI’s facilities next Saturday, 23 April.
The UV taekwondo team is looking forward to the meeting acording to Karina Reis, coach of the university team. “This year, we have had a generational change, so the number of UV participants will be smaller than in previous editions. We have students representing the UV for the first time both at an absolute level and at a promising level. Our objective is for all participants to achieve their objectives and enjoy a very positive experience”, she stated.
The competition will develop in the modality of combat based on weight divisions: 7 male and 7 female (in absolute and promising), will start at 10:00 and finish around 14:00, when the trophies are meant to be handed.
