The Beach Volleyball team of the Universitat de València is ready to compete in the Volleyball Spanish University Championship that will take place from 12 to 14 April in Santiago de la Ribera (San Javier – Murcia).
This time, the team coached by Juanjo Susín will attend the national meeting with two teams of two players (male and female) formed by Zdravko Kamenov and Adrián Pastor, and Aurora Ubé and Paula Company. The pair formed by Kamenov-Pastor competes again after three years, when in 2013 they won the bronze medal in the national championship, which was also celebrated in Murcia. Juanjo Susín considers that “their evolution as players has improved and thus, they are expected to perform really well in the competition, we really hope this is so”. The women’s pair debuts in the Spanish University Championship. Aurora Ubé competed last year, but Paula Company is the debutant in this Championship. About them and their options, Susín adds “they complement each other perfectly, they are young and eager to perform as their level requires it”. Our girls are confident they can perform at the same level as the other women’s teams who preceded them in previous Spanish Championships”.
