The 11th Trofeu Universitat de València ended with the final victory of Marc, Dani and Nacho beating Francés, Javi and Carlos 60 to 55 this Saturday in the disputed match played at the trinquet Pelayo.
It was a great performance of both teams and all its members, the six pelotaris. At a certain point, Marc won the public recognition. Later, Francés was the one who generated the admiration of the audience and then Dani, or Javi, or Nacho and Carlos, all of them deserved a warm and thunderous applause.
Most of the time, Marc, Dani and Nacho were more aggressive, taking the initiative of the game and in the scoreboard. The reaction of the red ones came later when they evened the score to 45 and even getting ahead imposing 50-45. As usually, the strength of both teams was so similar that exchanges were continuous. The stability and the spectacle were present during the last part of the game. The blue ones evened to 50 and took the lead 50-55, after that there was another tie before Marc, Dani and Nacho dominated until the end of the match, finally winning the competition 60-55. It was an incredible match that received a standing ovation by those present.
