The Universitat de València opens today, at 15:00, the self-registration for training courses of the Physical Education and Sports Service for the second semester via its webpage.
The Physical Education and Sports Service maintains its commitment to the Sport Volunteering courses offered to the students of the University of Valencia since several years ago. These offer them the possibility of getting involved in different sport events of the city of Valencia and in the competitions organised by the University. The university students registered in these courses will be trained in theoretical sessions on the different areas, will acquire knowledge about the importance of his/her labour in the society and how to develop it, and then will participate in the event from different positions, according to the needs of the competition.
The events are of different types, from the most popular and with a social and charitable nature, to the greatest international events: popular races, horse day, triathlons, etc. Also, with the training offer in sport volunteering, the students of new degrees will be able to obtain ECTS credits for their participation.
The course registration will be open for the university community but also for the general public, until covering the places, through the web page www.uv.es/sef under the Self-registration (Automatrícula) section.
