Universitat de València badminton team finally takes home the bronze medal in mixed doubles achieved in the Spanish University Badminton Championship, held between 9 and 11 May in Murcia.
The team formed by David Siles and Bárbara Salinas did a great achievement obtaining the bronze medal in the mixed category in a very competitive championship. “This is a significant result for the Universitat, competing against the potencial of certain universities is extremely difficult in our sport” observed the coach, Iván Gallardo.
Bárbara Salinas was also splendid in the women’s single, where she achieved a 5th position. Her partner in doubles, David Siles, was 9th in the men single. For their part, the doubles formed by Adrián Martin-Santiago Jareño and Paula Bernabéu-Cristina Gonzálvez achieved a 9th place.
