The teams of climbing and archery of the Universitat de València will compete on Thursday 10 March, the Regional Championship of University Sport in the facilities of the Universitat Politècnica de València
The climbing team, coached by Mónica Sánchez, goes to the session with the objective of defending the regional champion title that they won last year, when they got two medals (silver and bronze). The regional championship will be played in the sports centre of the Universitat Politècnica de València. During tomorrow’s session the qualifying rounds will be played from 10:00 to 12:00, and the final round will take place at 13:00 and 14:00, after that the handing over of the trophies will take place.
The archery team will go to the archery field of the Universitat de València, in order to compete in the Championship. The archers, Miguel Gómez attend the session with the objective of improving last-year’s sub-championship, when they got a silver and two bronze medals. The competition will start at 9:40 and the prize ceremony is scheduled at 14:30. There will be two modalities in this Championship: recurve bow and compound bow, throwing 36 arrow in each of the two modalitites.
