The Universitat Horse Riding team has proclaimed as runner-up in the Spanish University Horse Riding Tournament, which took place in Club SEK -Villanueva del Pardillo (Madrid) between 21st and 25th of April.
El combinado dirigido por Miguel Ángel Torregrosa y José Garrido acudió a la cita con 4 amazonas: Noelia Reig, Marta Esteve, Paula Abril y Elena Laita, que compitieron en dos modalidades: doma clásica y salto de obstáculos, ambas categorías se disputan de forma individual y mixta en este tipo de Campeonato.
The team, run by Miguel Ángel Torregrosa and José Garrido, came to the meeting with 4 horsewoman: Noelia Reig, Marta Esteve, Paula Abril and Elena Laita, who competed in two categories: dressing and show jumping. Both are individual and mixed categories in this type of tournament.
Noelia Reig obtained the bronze medal in dressing. Her team mates got good results; Marta Esteve reached the 8º position and Paula Abril in 10º postion, both in dressing category. Elena Laita obtained 34º position in show jumping. These results rised the Universitat to the second position of the University podium.
As on previous university sports occasions, the Physical Education and Sports Service offered live coverage and monitoring of the teams through its web page (www.uv.es/sef) and its social networks (Twitter: @sefuv and www.facebook.com/SEFUV) in which all the fans could find immediate information on the results of the matches, feelings and statements of the protagonists. Twitter and Facebook reached more than 4.000 impressions.
Noelia Reig logró subir al pódium a por la medalla de bronce en doma clásica, y sus compañeras obtuvieron buenos resultados, clasificando en octava posición Marta Esteve y en décima Paula Abril en la categoría de doma y en 34ª Elena Laita en salto de obstáculos. Unos resultados que elevaron a la Universitat hasta la segunda posición del pódium por universidades.
Como en anteriores citas deportivas universitarias, el Servei d’Educació Física i Esports ofreció cobertura en directo y seguimiento de la selección de hípica a través de su página web (www.uv.es/sef) y de sus redes sociales oficiales (Twitter: @sefuv y www.facebook.com/SEFUV) en las que todos/as los/as seguidores/as pudieron encontrar información instantánea sobre los resultados de los deportistas, sensaciones y declaraciones de los protagonistas, que entre las publicaciones de Facebook y Twitter consiguieron más de 4.000 impresiones.
