The Universitat de València launches next week a sports volunteer course centred around the Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon. The course will take place between 3 and 15 November, with two theoretical sessions on 3 and 10 November and a third one on Friday 13 November at Expo Deporte.
The students who decide to enrol in these courses will be trained through theoretical sessions on the different areas, will acquire knowledge on the importance of their role in society and on how to put it to practice and, afterwards, will participate in the event in several posts according to the competition’s needs.
Great part of the marathon’s success comes not only because of the sports exigence, but also because of the organizational success. Both the race, provisioning, animation, the Expo Deporte Valencia or the parallel activities need the help and compromise of the city and its citizens. A different effort of an altruist character, but which means a great satisfaction for actively helping the heroes who will cross the finish line. Furthermore, with this offer of sports volunteers training, students of new degrees could obtain ECTS thanks to their participation.
