The beach volleyball team of the Universitat de València will compete, on Tuesday 22 March, in the Regional University Sports Championship (CADU) of Beach Volleyball, which will take place at the Malvarrosa beach at 10:00.
The team headed by Juanjo Susín joins the event with 6 couples (two male, two female, and two mixed) with the objective of improving the second position result they obtained last year. Concerning the options in the competition, Susín thinks about the couples: “Regarding boys we have the couple formed by Adrián Pastor and Álvaro Salvador. Adrián Pastor competed last year in the mixed team, achieving the victory together with Aurora Ubé. Álvaro Salvador is back to the competition after a year. On the other hand, the couple of Vladis Nagiev and Fernando Chillaron competes again and will try to improve the result of the last year that left them out of the semi-finals of the Competition.” Regarding the girls, Susín adds that Aurora Ubé and Paula Company are a new couple. Aurora will try to repeat the gold of the last year in the mixed category but this time with her partner Paula, who already competed in the female competition last year. Raquel Saéz and Vesy Georguieva compete for the first time in the CADU event they already have experience in the beach volleyball modality”. Regarding the mixed couples, “Javi Verdú and Pilar Moreno will work together to show the dedication they have for sport. On the other hand, Patryk Kowalski and Nela Grau form a very fighter couple who will give plenty to talk about during the tournament”.
