The Divina Pastora Chair for Adapted Sports Universitat de València will be in charge of the organisation of the slalom and wheelchair hockey workshops as a part of the activities organised by the Universitat de València in the Primavera Educativa project.
Primavera Educativa is a project of the Education Department of the Valencian Government similar to a “festival” that will take place during the days 13, 14 and 15 of May in the old bed of the Turia River. The objective of this project is to celebrate the work of teachers and the Valencian education centres, as well as to present and share some of the most innovative projects carried out in the classrooms of more than 2000 centres of the Valencian Community.
Within the programme of this event, the Divina Pastora Chair for Adapted Sports will organise the workshops directed by Gabriel Calvo, student of the Faculty of Mathematics of the University and Rafa Ibáñez, student of the Double Degree in Business Management and Administration, both members of the Chair and the Masclets team. The slalom and the wheelchair hockey are two specific modalities addressed to groups with functional diversity.
With this initiative, the Chair joins the slogan “a river of Valencian education”, with the objective of contributing ideas about educational innovation and all types of experience improving quality of teaching in the Valencian education system.
