Over 300 participants in the V Race Universitat de València have already picked up one of the 500 technical t-shirts that, from the Physical and Sports Education Service, are given to the participants who prove being registered for the race and belonging to the university community.
With this initiative, the Physical and Sports Education Service continues with its bet on creating an orange tide which represents the university collective on Sunday, 19 June, in the V Race Universitat de València, which is part of the XII Divina Pastora Seguros series of fun runs of Valencia and it is organised along with the Faculty of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences of the Universitat de València.
Once again, the surroundings of Blasco Ibañez will be the scenario of the university race par excellence with a fast race (the second shortest of the XII Divina Pastora Series) to put all the runners strengths through its straight lines and its total of 5 335 metres.
Starting at Av. Primado Reig with its finish line in the sport facilities of the Campus of the Universitat de València, it is a multitudinous fun race in which students, professors and Universitat staff will have their own individual classification, setting an example with their trainers on.
For this race there will be four new categories, each of them with its own classifications and trophies: PDI-PAS (male and female) and students (male and female). In order to be able to take part in this category, members of the university community must show proof of belonging to the Universitat and of the race registration. Office hours for athletes will be from 6 to 10 June at the concergerie of the three sport campus of the Universitat de València from 9 to 13 hours (from 11 to 14 in Burjassot), and from 16 to 20 hours on Blasco Ibañez Campus, which will extend its office hours on 13 and 14 June for those lagging behind. It is required to show proof of the registration for the V Race Universitat de València, as well as of the membership to the Universitat de València, with the university ID and the ID card.
